Cid was raised in the teachings of Tempest. taught the ways of war 
early on , he excelled. One day after a viscious battle against 
invaders to his homeland, Cid received a vision. he was to no longer
 server Tempest, but was to now server the goddess known as the 
Red Knight.  After some diliberation, Cid followed his vision and 
became a Paladin of the goddess of warfare tactics and planning. 
After time spent training in the ways of his new goddess, Cid was 
called by one of his new superiors to go to Baldurs Gate. a border
 war was brewing and tacticians were in demand by the mercenary
 commanders.
He was being ordered to report to a Sgt Olen and accompany him back 
to the Orc Slayers encampment as an advisor..
